• In Google Webmaster Tools I’m receiving errors about my wp-content/uploads/ pages not displaying properly on mobile devices.

Google says the pages contain text too small to read, links too close together, and the mobile viewport is not set.

Is there a way to make these pages mobile-friendly in the future or exclude them from the plugin entirely?

When attempting to use the “All URLs/pages except these” function in core settings, any URLs pasted in the corresponding box disappear after hitting “save changes.”

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

This morning’s update should resolve the issue you were experiencing with the URL filter field not saving correctly.

As regards the URLS within /wp-content/upload/?–?neither WordPress nor WPtouch are involved in those. Your web server is producing what are called ‘Directory Indexes’. It is typically advisable to disable these via your sites htacess file (see https://www.htaccess-guide.com/disable-directory-listings/ for a guide).

    Thanks,

    Product Manager, WPtouch

I was getting Google indicating my site was NOT mobile friendly using the provided tool. All setting on wptouch were to default.

I have been using Cloudflare and recently enabled their SSL and re-directing http to https (using simple page rule no changes to defaults).

This seemed to be the source of the problem, I switched SSL off and Google now indicates my WordPress site is friendly with wptouch.
