    Hi, It was just brought to my attention that the entry form is not opening for my client’s website. It works if I’m logged in, but not otherwise. Settings seem fine. This stopped working sometime after February, 2023.

    Hi,

    What is happening is that most JavaScript files are loaded with the defer attribute. This is not the default and seems to break this functionality.
    Could it be you are running some optimization plugin that has the defer option enabled for JavaScript? I have seen it break on more websites.

    Oh, thank you Marcel! That was it. It was a speed optimizer that enabled the defer attribute. I never would have thought to look there. Much appreciated.
