    Hi there,

I’m testing your Modula version 2.0.0, absolutely love the Custom Grid option, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! However I have a couple of issues with it that I hope you can help me with.

    1. When I set the Gutter to 0 the gallery doesn’t appear on the page at all, there’s just a big white area where the images should be. When I inspect element the images are all there on the page but they seem to have width set to 0px, and both top and left are set to 0px too. When I set the gutter to 5px the images appear fine, but I don’t want them to display with any space between them.

    2. On first load the images don’t display in the order I set the in the grid, but if I re-size the browser window then the images re-arrange themselves according to the grid set, and they stay in the correct order even when I maximise the browser window again.

    3. The option “Enter a hyperlink if you wish to link this image to somewhere other than its attachment page” isn’t working for me, but I think I saw in a previous tread that you’re aware of this bug.

Thank you for working on this awesome plugin,
    Henriette

  • Hello Henriette,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about this!
    1. We will investigate this asap and get back to you.
2 & 3 – we have added a fix for this, please delete the version you have and re-download Modula 2.0 and those should be fixed.

    Thank you,
    Mihaela

    Hi Mihaela,

Thank you for your fast response!

I have downloaded the version from this post as I assume that’s the very latest version of Modula 2.0, but sadly it doesn’t make any changes to the 2 & 3 issues. Do you have a link an an even newer version?

    Thank you,
    Henriette

    Hello Henriette,

Thank you for being so patient and explaining!
I have tested the first issue and you are correct, it does not display the gallery if the gutter is 0. I have created a ticket for our dev team so they can address this.
Re. #3 make sure to choose ‘Attachment page’ from General > Lightboxes and Links > in order to work.

Re. #2 Could you please send me a screenshot with how this issue looks like in the backend and in the front?
It would help us pinpoint it.

    Thank you,
    Mihaela

    Hi Mihaela,

Great to hear your team will work on the gutter 0 issue.

I have taken made the following screenshots for you: Custom grid on front website; before re-sizing browser window, and after re-sizing browser window. And a screenshot of how I have it set up at the backend.
It’s like the image sizes are not quite correct at first, but then when I re-size the browser window, doesn’t matter whether it’s to smaller or larger or whether I size it back to the size it first was, the images stay in the correct order after that.
The images will also re-arrange themselves in the correct order if I open dev tools, like inspect element.

Yay for your point 3 suggestion! That’s fixed now, the images are now linking to the URLs I set them to.

    Henriette
