• I launched a new website this week and everything was working fine, until I used the staging option offered by Bluehost to make updates to the website. Once I deployed the changes to my production site, the query loops on my live site were messed up. The formatting on the live site changed to full screen. When I went in to fix, I got a message stating that an error had occurred and preview wasn’t available. This affected two of my templates: Front Page and Home (used for posts). I pulled the site down while I worked on fixing. On the front page, I deleted the existing query loop and added a new one. Now the post images aren’t lining up; the 3rd column has a smaller image. I’ve tried inactivating all of my plugins and reinstalling. I’ve tested adding a query loop in a different template and the same thing happens. I don’t understand what is happening and I don’t know how to correct these issues.

I am using WordPress 6.3 and the Twenty-twenty-three theme. I am a visual editor; I don’t have much experience with coding. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi @kathyk293

Could you send some screenshots of the issue?
Also please copy the system status in Dashboard->Gutenverse->System Status.

    Thank you.

This is a screen shot of what it did to the formatting of both my query loops. I did figure out how to change it back to grid style so now it looks normal when I preview it (2nd screenshot) but when I got in to edit I still see the error message that preview isn’t available (3rd screenshot).

Here is what happened on my Front Page template when I recreated the query loop. The formatting of the 3rd column doesn’t match; the featured image is now smaller than the other images. (You’ll notice the image in the 3rd column is different because I tried changing it to see if the actual image was the problem but that didn’t help.)

    Hi @kathyk293

Could you copy the query loop block? and also send me the image sources so I can replicate the issue on my side.
Here is a screenshot of how to copy a block:

Hi @yogajegstudio. Thank you so much for looking into this for me.

I was able to copy the block but its not letting me paste it into the forum. Hoping a screenshot will work. This is the one from the Front Page.

The images are saved on my computer and then I uploaded into the Media Library. I’m attaching from my Media Library here.

Here is a screenshot of the Query Loop on the Home template. This one has the correct formatting but was giving me the cannot preview error. I just checked it and it appears normal.

    Hi @kathyk293

Unfortunately I need the block codes to be able to inspect the issue.
You can use public sharing text files such as pastebin, and paste the link here.

    Thank you.

OK I’ve included a link to Pastebin and a screenshot of it as well (in case I didn’t do it correctly). Thank you for helping me work my way through this.

    Hi @kathyk293

It seems you haven’t set the featured image height yet.
Try changing it in the editor.
Click twice on the image, and on the right sidebar panel click on the black/white circle beside the gear icon, and on the Dimension tab, change the height.

Here is an example where I set the height to 300px

Let us know if you still have any questions.

    Thank you.
