    Hi there,

I’m having trouble with the gutenverse nav menu on our draft website. I’m using the Renovator Theme and have installed the Gutenverse plugin. I used Gutenverse to create the menu and have followed the appropriate steps to add the menu via WordPress.

The issue I am having is that the menu is visible and working well on the homepage, but it is half hidden on all the other pages of the website. I don’t see a way to fix this. Here is a link to view the website so you can see the issue: https://wordpress-823548-2840560.cloudwaysapps.com/

    Please advise.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @okambur ,

This is happened because there is a custom class that give margin negative inside the cover block.
There are two ways to fix this :
First solution, on each page template that has the issue, you can click on the cover block then on the right sidebar panel click on “Advance” and delete the class “renovater-margin-top-n30”.
Please check this screenshot for reference : https://prnt.sc/Q6h-ZMtrf6-Y

Second solution, you can add z-index to your nav menu. first, click on your nav menu then on the right sidebar panel click on “Spacing” then try adding z-index to 10 or higher.

    Thank you.

Thank you! That first solution worked for me, but the second one didnt for some reason. Now there is a weird space beneath my navigation bar. Anyway to fix that?

    Hi @okambur ,

It seems there is margin applied to the menu wrapper.
Please check this screenshot to see the margin settings location and try removing the margin.

Thank you! That worked. My last issue is responsiveness. I have a very long menu and need it to begin collapsing sooner than the tablet size available so the words don’t stack. Is there anyway to do this so the menu begins collapsing right when the menu items no longer fit?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @okambur

I’m representative of the team and will try to answer your question.

You can set the responsive breakpoints inside the Nav Menu block settings.

If you need custom breakpoints larger than tablet (which is 780px), unfortunately at the moment we don’t have the feature for it.

If you have any other question, please let me know.

    Thank you.

    Hi Yoga,

Thanks for submitting a response. I currently have the breakpoints set to Tablet but I need to customize it so the breakpoint occurs at a sooner point. I need the breakpoint to occur from the moment the navigation menu no longer fits to screen. Is this something I can do?

Unfortunately at the moment we don’t have the feature to do custom breakpoints, but we already have plan for adding it in the future.

To clarify, it might looks like it can be done using custom css, but no, there are other nav menu styles that also relies on breakpoint and it will be complex to handle it with just custom css.
Also functionality that handles the drawer menu might also not working properly.

At the moment you might need to put some of the menus inside submenu.

If you still have any question, please let me know.

    Thank you
