Gutenburg – add block drop down menu width can be widened – very much

The “Add Block” drop down menu, is quite narrow.
When the user is trying to add a new block, there is not much else they need to be seeing on their screen.
So the drop down selection menu could be made wider, possibly much wider, so more options and graphics can be shown in the same screen space.
On wide screens, there is even more space, but this is being prevented by the hard wiring of the dimensions of the drop down menu.

Please consider making the drop down menu area bigger, by any of the following methods (which ever one you consider is best) ;

a) make the drop down menu wider

b) place the icon at the top of the page, so it can have more (fuller) vertical space

c) a pop-up window might be able to be used to occupy the full screen (but the design philosophy may be to avoid pop-ups.
