Gutenberg Table proglem

  • I was using Gutenberg plugin ver. 16.6.0. If I make a Table block and copy a cell’s contents (ctrl-c), I cannot paste (ctrl-v) this into another cell of the same or other table. However I can paste the contents in a paragraph block. Similarly I can copy a line from a paragraph block but it wont paste in a table cell. When I deactivate the Gutenberg okugin the problem goes away and pasting in a Table cell works.

  • Hi @gmeyers ! Are you trying to do this with formatted text? I noticed that using Paste without formatting (in Firefox, using Ctrl + Shift + V ), works for pasting contents within cells, even with the latest Gutenberg plugin.

    It also looks like this bug is being fixed in this update for the Gutenberg plugin, so it should ideally be fixed once this is released in a newer version.
