MLP2 will not compatibility with Gutenberg and will not be maintained anymore, currently, we have MLP3 which fully compatibility with Gutenberg ??
But currently, there is no roadmap to make MLP3 free ??
If you want, you can support us by going to https://multilingualpress.org then purchase the pro MLP3 version.

Thank you for quick response. But this is not fair. While people download the MLP2, they were trust you to maintain it. They builded their blogs for this reason. Me too!

Pricing for MLP3 is so high. If you have only 1 blog with 2 different languages, you can’t buy it. You should consider simple bloggers. WPML plugin provides same service at lower cost than you. However, we prefer you.

Also there is no certain and efficient way to migrate blog from MLP2 to MLP3…

I think you should continue to provide support that includes Gutenberg availability for this good plugin. It has 500+ active installation.

this ist really frustrating. I have some clients with MultilingualPress. What shall I tell them about the future of their websites? They all like MultilingualPress, but this decision that MPL2 will no longer be supported is really frustrating. The concept of MultilingualPress with using WordPress multisite is really good, but I am afraid no we are lost in translation…

MPL3 is no alternative because it is too expensive, none of my clients will so much. What is your recommendation for your users? Stying with WordPress 4.9?

In order to use MultilingualPress 2 with WordPress 5 and above you need to install the Classic Editor plugin.

I have the Classic Editor plugin installed and activated. However, I use Divi and have pages built with Divi Builder. I can no longer make drafts in other languages. I believe I could not long ago, since I built an entire network of sites in 4 languages, using Divi and MLP.

I wouldn’t mind moving to version 3, but there seems to be no way to migrate, and these sites are simply to large and complex to do by hand. We would have to start over it seems. And, is MLP 3 compatible with page builders?
