    Hi Friends,

I need help with my full site editing template (twenty twenty four).

I can’t display subcategories before products in store. Changing the Woocommerce display option in customizer has no effect.

Gutenberg block used in product category template (FSE) shows only products.

  • Hi @jarr24,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand you’re trying to adjust the display order of subcategories and products within your full site editing template. Normally, changing the WooCommerce display options in the customizer should affect how these elements are displayed. Since that’s not working for you, we might need to look into this a bit further.

Could you please confirm if you have tried clearing your cache after making changes in the customizer? Sometimes, a cached version of the page can prevent the changes from showing up immediately. It would be helpful to know if you have any custom code or plugins that might be overriding the default WooCommerce settings. I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support. You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Looking forward to your response!

Just to add, a?template?controls the layout of your pages. Not to be confused with?Themes?(that set the design of your entire site), the?template?affects the look and feel of an individual page (or post) or groups of pages (or posts). This guide explains how to work with page templates.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
