Gutenberg still not integrated?

Hi there. I’ve used this calendar plugin for many years and have been happy with it… until the past year or so when Gutenberg became core instead of plugin status.

I still cannot create and edit calendar events using the Gutenberg blocks. It doesn’t seem to be set in this plugin. I used to be able to force it to work by using the hook register_post_type_args and inserting ‘show_in_rest’ => true into the post, tag, and category types. Now, that doesn’t work. If I hacked the custom-type.php file and added this to the args for each, it works.

Why is this not the default editor for this plugin yet? It’s been over a year.
