    Hi there All,

I know this sounds really stupid, but, In the old Classic view, you had at the top, Add New Page or Add New Post.

Now I just can’t find this in Gutenberg?

The steps I have to take are as follows are:
1 Click on Pages >> Add new page
2 Name the page and fill out anything else that needs doing.
    3 Click Publish
4 Click on W Icon and the top left Go back to Pages
    5 Click Add Page

Am I missing something here, or is there a plugin I can get from the repository that just adds a button saying New Post or New Page.

Thank you for reading and helping.

    Cheers
    John

As of WP 5.4, the block editor defaults to full screen mode, which shows that W icon. You can change the mode at any time, though. The Options menu shows the different modes available and the key sequence of “Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F” to toggle the full screen mode.
When you are not in full screen mode, the admin bar has a link for “New” and also the standard admin menu has links for new posts and pages as usual.
