Hi! We have been using classic editor but want to change to Gutenberg. However it’s not working. When I try to create a new post and type a headline and some text and press “save draft” this happens:
    1. The headline disappears.
    2. The paragraph text is still there.

When I go the list of posts there is an autosaved post. When I click to edit there is no headline and no paragraph text.

I have disabled all plugins and use Twenty Twenty-One as theme.
    WP version: 5.7.2.

I have enabled SCRIPT_DEBUG but I am not getting any errors. I have asked my webhost and they can’t find any php Gutenberg related errors.

What can I do? I am very new to this kind of troubleshooting.

    Any advice is appreciated!
    Regards,
    Jesper

Hi @jhultqvist, I tested using WordPress 5.7.3, and didn’t see an issue with the heading or paragraph text disappearing when following your steps. Not sure what could be happening here.

What plugins did you have active before you deactivated them, out of interest? And are you using the Gutenberg plugin, or just the block editor that comes with WordPress as standard?

Is there anything about your site that might make it different to a normal WordPress installation, something that might help with trying to recreate the bug?

I found the problem. A Rewrite rule in .htaccess was the culprit! When I deleted that everything worked fine.
