Gutenberg Loading ONLY Over VPN!

    I find that I can add or edit a post in Gutenberg ONLY over a VPN! Otherwise I just get a blank screen.

    Here’s the console window when I DON’T use a VPN:

    Can someone help me explain what’s going on??

    Edit: I’ve tried disabling all plugins, clearing all cache etc…

    If you use Cloudflare service, you can try to check after disabling the Cloudflare service.

    @ittoufiq Hey, thank, it worked!

    I actually DID disable Cloudflare (development mode), but didn’t clear the cache etc. Upon seeing your response, I disabled it again and this time it worked!

    So thanks for that! Any ideas on what makes it work on a VPN and not my regular ISP?

    Same problem but it works on Firefox lol

    Hi there,

    If you use a Cloudflare SSL certificate. then sometimes the SSL certificate blocked the resource to load the scripts of the core. That’s why occurred this peculiar problem. If you use the Cloudflare, Please turn off the rocket loader from your SSL provider.

    I found the problem everyone!

    Version 5.3 of WordPress changed some CSS and JS files, and these were still being cached on Cloudflare. As a result, I was getting the older versions of these files. The VPN was connecting from a different location, so it was getting fresh ones.

    Once I purged the entire Cloudflare cache globally, it started working and I could edit pages again!
