Gutenberg is SLOW

  • Gutenberg is so very slow on my site. It often freezes and doesn’t save properly. I was hoping that I could just use Gutenberg for all my posts but these issues say I can’t. Yes, there may be plugin conflicts etc…However, Gutenberg seems to be more affected by these issues compared with Elementor. I was also hoping to get away from Elementor by using Gutenberg but that plan is now in tatters. If Gutenberg is supposed to be the future for WordPress editing (kicking out the classic editor) then the developers need to come up with a radical change in the design that would make it so. Sorry guys but there still seems to be a lot of work to do.

    Thank you for that feedback! I can definitely empathize with the pain of an app/interface being slow (and freezing too, yikes).

    We’re constantly working on making more stable and faster. Personally, since I started contributing to the project, I’ve noticed a lot of attention and consideration for performance from core members.

    Appreciate you giving the plugin a shot!
