Gutenberg HTML block restrictions

  • I have an html/javascript that makes an Ajax request following wordpress protocol but the post request gets rejected with a 400 status.
    What I like to know is what are the basic rules of the html block.
    Is it considered part of wordpress and as such will follow the standard wordpress interfaces? Or is running in a sandbox and is not able to communicate at all?
