After adding the “Checkout form block” inside a Gutenberg Editor, the form does not show the styles.

    Hello @diegosomar,

    Greetings for the day!

I have tried to replicate the same on my test site with Gutenberg editor and the Checkout form widget is working fine on my end. Here is the screenshot:https://d.pr/i/5WVBJ2.

Did you check for a third-party plugin or theme conflict? Here’s what we can do to make sure:

Firstly, try to temporarily switch to another theme, like default themes like – Twenty-Twenty or Twenty Nineteen, and check if the error or issue persists.

Next, you can deactivate all the plugins temporarily except CartFlows and WooCommerce and see if that solves the error. If it does then activate plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing the problem.

    Hope this helps.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello @aamiribsf tks for your message!

I followed your instructions and there really is an incompatibility with Gutenberg’s own plugin, version 15.7.1.
When I disable the plugin and use Gutenberg built in WordPress 6.2 it works. But when I activate the Gutenberg plugin in version 15.7.1, the cartflows block style stops working on the edit page.

    Hello @diegosomar,

With Gutenberg’s own plugin version 15.7.1 is active, the issue happening only when you try to edit the CartFlows steps -or- the same issue happening when you try to edit the normal WordPress pages?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello! The normal pages has not the “Checkout form block” (by cartflows). Then, this issue only happens when I edit via Gutenberg plugin the post type “cartflows_flow” content.

    Hello @diegosomar,

    Thanks for writing back.

The issue is happening only with the Cartflows checkout form widget if I’m getting it right. Can you please provide the name of the plugin you are referring to so I could test the same on my end.? Is there any specific reason to use the plugin as Gutenberg is the default page builder of WordPress?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello @aamiribsf!

I’m using the Cartflows Checkout Form Block inside a post type “cartflows_flow” content (Gutenberg).

I prefer the Gutenberg plugin to always have new features. The version of Gutenberg built into WordPress takes a long time to update.

    Hello @diegosomar,

    Thanks for the information

I tested again with the Gutenberg plugin(version 15.7.1) installed on the site and then added a checkout form widget on a checkout step. The form worked fine for me. I couldn’t see any issue with styling.

    Here is the screen recording:https://d.pr/v/ApEH98.

Is there anything I’m missing to replicate it?

Looking forward to hearing from you

    Hello!

To test it out, I started an installation from scratch. I installed WooCommerce, Cartflows and Gutenberg. I added 1 test product and kept the default WP theme (TT3).

Then I created a flow from scratch and kept the standard Cartflows information. That was all I did. I didn’t customize anything at all.

Next, I tried to add the Cartflows checkout form block in the Gutenberg editor and the styles didn’t load.

    My screen record:

I recorded another video, showing what happens if I disable the Gutenberg plugin:
    https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1090650250403917937/1108390949681385523/cartflows2.mp4

This is a fresh installation, using default WP template and all default Cartflows data. I didn’t do any customization.

    Hello @diegosomar,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Our developers have updated us that we don’t recommend using Gutenberg plugin on production sites as it contains non-final features which can cause issue with CartFlows.

We have added a notice for it that appears when you activate Gutenberg plugin with CartFlows enabled. It was not showing due to some condition not working but we have fixed that notice issue in the most recent update and the notice will appear for the users. Here is the screenshot: https://d.pr/i/TA3h6T

I hope this explanation helps. Looking forward to hearing from you.
