    Hi.

so, in the past, gutenberg editor view fit to screen on its own when i open the right-side menu panel.. but now it just hide the view when I open the panel, which kind of annoying because i can’t view and edit blocks properly. anyway to fix this..?!

    Thank you

I cannot replicate such behavior on my site, so I suspect it’s something your theme has implemented as part of its editor styling. To confirm, as a test try switching to a default Twenty* theme. Flush your browser’s cache to eliminate any stale CSS that it might try to use. Reload the editor screen. When the right sidebar is opened, the page’s view should narrow and not be overlaid by the sidebar. If confirmed, take up the issue through your theme’s dedicated support forum.

If switching to a default theme doesn’t change behavior, the cause could be a plugin. Redo the test again, this time while deactivating all plugins. You should now get the desired behavior. Restore your plugins one at a time, testing after each. When the unwanted overlay behavior returns, the last activated plugin would be the cause.
