Gutenberg blocks translation

  • We have big amount user’s requests to add compatibility of our gutenberg blocks with polylang, but I can’t find any information about this in documentation. Does Polylang use the same wpml configuration file for blocks?

    Hello,

    If you refer to the gutenberg-blocks section, it is partially supported by Polylang Pro, but not by Polylang. This is however useful only when using the XLIFF export/import (for external professional translation).

    Automatic conversion of ids is not yet supported in wpml-config.xml as we discovered this new WPML feature recently. There is however a filter pll_translate_blocks available for long in Polylang Pro but it’s not as simple to use as the wpml-config.xml. Surely we will support this in the future.
