The MetaSlider block appears to be broken in Gutenberg right now. Once created, it renders with this error:

This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed

The page can be saved and refreshed, and then the block will render correctly briefly. Once interacted with, it again returns to an error state.

A JavaScript error is recorded once this interaction occurs:

Element type is invalid: expected a string (for built-in components) or a class/function (for composite components) but got: undefined.

This may be due to a recent update to Gutenberg included in WordPress 5.4. I’ve created MetaSlider blocks in previous versions successfully, so this is a recent change.

The site is freshly generated, using the GeneratePress theme. It has no other plugins except for GP Premium, which I’ve disabled to rule out any interference.

The shorttag version still works as expected. Only the block is affected.
