    It is not clear to me whether the Gutenberg Ramp plugin requires the Gutenberg beta plugin to be installed. If so, I would have thought this would be in the installation instructions. Can someone please clarify.

    Hi,

    Although it won’t cause problems by not having the Gutenberg plugin installed, it won’t do anything either without it. So, yes, you ideally need to install it as well.

    I’ve opened up a ticket on Github to get this clarified in the documentation – https://github.com/Automattic/gutenberg-ramp/issues/77.

    Thanks. One further question: does the Gutenberg plugin need to be activated after it is installed, or is it sufficient for the plugin to be installed but unactivated for Gutenberg Ramp to work?

    It does not need to be activated.
