    Hi guys,

in our backend, some custom post types have the classic WordPress editor, while others have Gutenberg. We cannot understand why. Our client wants to have Gutenberg in all post types. What do we have to do?

    Best regards

    Hi @iov2022,

The issue you’ve described is not caused by our plugin. If you want the Gutenberg editor in all of your posts and you’re not using the Classic Editor in anything else, you can then disable the Classic Editor plugin by going to your WP Dashboard -> Plugins.

    Hi Alex,

    thanks for your answer.

Ok, but…I have not “Classic Editor plugin” in Plugins page.
How can i disable this and only have Gutenberg?

    Hi @iov2022,

Could you please let us know if the Custom Post Types that have the WordPress Classic editor, are made with our plugin (WCK)?

    Best regards,

    1. Could you please go to your Dashboard -> Plugins -> and check what version of WCK you have (the latest version is 2.3.2)?

    2. If you have the latest version of WCK, could you please create a new CPT and check if it’s in the Gutenberg editor or the Classic editor?

    3. Could you please do the following conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

NOTE: Please do the conflict test on a test site, not on the live site.
