Do I need to go through this procedure for every page/post on my site?

I’m no sure to understand what you mean by “every page/post”? You have to use a shortcode everytime you want to display a feed withing your page content, or a single widget to display your feeds in the sidebar.

So if I just put the widget in the sidebar or footer then I have an RSS feed where anyone can access any of my content?
