Guidance with the new block

    Hi Donna,

    Lucio here, one of the fans and power users of your work.

    I’m a bit lost with the new plugin for Gutenberg.

    The previous version pulled the info from the Google API.
    Are we supposed now to insert all the info such as picture, publisher, release date and pages?

    Also one more issue I have is that when I click on the star rating, my chosen number of star doesn’t stick.
    I click on “4” for example but as soon as I move the mouse arrow away it goes back to zero.

    The new one wasn’t working unluckily.

    Right now I’m still using the old one which works perfectly and I put off testing this new one more “deeply”.

    How is it working for you?

    For me, it keep giving me the “error” message whenever I try to type something in the description box. Which “old one” are you referring to, if you don’t mind me asking? I want to use anything that would be able to still have the semi-same appearances as this plug in.

    The old one is called “Review Block” and it’s a game changer of a plugin.

    Your star rating shows also on Google, which helps a lot with click-through rates

    The issues you were experiencing are fixed in version 1.2.2.

    This functionality is not currently available in Book Review Block. I have plans to add it, although I don’t have a timeline to offer.

    Your star rating shows also on Google, which helps a lot with click-through rates

    Book Review Block also supports rich snippets as of version 1.2.0.
