Guidance on setting up pop ups.

    Hello, I am new to this plugin and was wondering if it can do what I want it to do.
    I am using site origin page builder plugin to construct pages and want to find a way that when an image is clicked on then it will open a layer/popup over the page showing more details relating to the image. Quite simple really but I am not sure if popup maker is the way to do this. Or is there another way to do this at all.

    Depending on how many images you have, then you may have to make that many popups because each popup will have something different according to which image is clicked.

    If you have many images, you have many popups, and this can take a serious toll on site loading times.

    If you’re going to have more than 10-15 popups on a page, you might look into our Remote Content Extension. This would allow you to create one popup for all image details.

    You would still have to setup these image details on a separate page for each detail, then call them according to which URL was clicked – this is explained in more detail on our Remote Content Docs.

    If you decide you’re just going to make a popup for each image, make sure to use Conditions so that you just load popups where you need to.

    No matter what direction you choose, you’ll be making use of our Click Trigger to make the popups open.

    Hello Walter,

    Sorry for the apparent inactivity on this thread. I have been dealing with numerous other issues.
    I have not yet had the chance to fully explore what you mention regards the extension.
    I am back on to this project now and shall se how I get on with things.
    Thanks for your support so far but I’ve not really resolved things to where I was wanting them to be.
    I am still looking for a simple solution whereby the popups appear upon clicking on an image to reveal more information on the subject of the image.
    I gather that I would then need to set up the ‘more information’ as a separate page and this would then be called from the popup on the page item? I am still sussing out how to implement this so any guidance would be helpful.
