Hi. Such a great theme! Already very fast, but what if we want to use a cache plugin like WP Fastest Cache or Litespeed? They both work fine, but do you have any guidance or documentation for best practice on cache settings for minify and combine css, js,html, etc.

We see in other article you say not to combine/minify because Blocksy loads these dynamically. Just wondering if you could clarify what you think the the best way to effectively implement a cache plugin without interfering with the natural performance of the Blocksy theme.

    Thanks for your helpful answer…

  • Hello @wordmax

As a rule of thumb, we cannot provide such advice because every single setup is different and what works for one, doesn’t necessarily work for the other. And of course, we cannot speak for how to optimise all other third party services.

If you wish to go ahead, I would recommend touching Blocksy’s files as little as possible. You can easily exclude Blocksy’s files from being processed in almost any caching solution. Do not try to combine them into one, nor modify how they load such as delaying/deferring.

That should be a good starting point for you. ??

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!
