Hi everyone, I have this resource that gets a 403 error, the Litespeed developer and my hosting provider told me that it depends on some SolidWP setting. Your security plugin can block this resource, is there a way to avoid it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi?@agenziathinknow,

Try this. Navigate to Security > Settings > Advanced > System Tweaks

Disable (if not already) the Disable PHP in Plugins setting in the PHP Execution section. Scroll to the bottom of the page and save the settings.

Thanks for the advice, but in this way I expose myself to serious security reasons, since for a php file that I make readable, all the other php files in the other folders can be exploited directly.

In fact, the entry says: “Disable PHP execution in the plugins directory. This blocks requests to PHP files within plugin directories that can be exploited directly.”

    Hi @agenziathinknow,

That is correct, but unfortunately this is the only way to solve the issue you reported in this topic.

Do note, plugins that (http) access php files directly is considered a bad security practice… So avoiding using such plugins would prevent you exposing yourself to serious security reasons ??

    Addendum:

You can add a request for excludes to the Disable PHP in Plugins setting to the SolidWP public Ideas board?here.
