hello in future versions, it is planned to add an option to save the basket of customers who are not connected, to send reminders? or do you think it’s counterproductive or too intrusive?

other plugins ask for the visitor’s email address when they click on add to cart, if they are not logged in

    Hello @ajna667,

Cart abandonment works with guest users as well, are you facing any issues? Please share more information about your use case.

    Hello @ajna667,

    Thanks for writing back

To clarify, the data will be captured and processed only when the user provides their email address in the Email field on the checkout page, regardless of whether they are a guest or a registered user. The plugin’s Ajax call is triggered when the user fills in the email field on the checkout page. This step is crucial to obtain the user’s email address, which enables us to send recovery emails for any abandoned orders.

I hope this explanation clarifies the process. If you have any further questions or need more information, please feel free to ask.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards,

Maybe I can jump in here. I’m looking into setting the E-mail Adress via Link (https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-populate-checkout-from-url/) for the cart. What parameter have to be set in order for the abandoned cart to pick it up?

ok @aamiribsf for the process, so guest must be in process of ordering. In my mind guest cart recover were when a vistor added a product to cart and no go more far, no go to checkout page, it was the process of the prevus plugin I used visitor where asking to write an email when they added a product to cart.

    Hello @ajna667,

Cart abandonment plugin works only when a user is on the checkout page and abandones cart.
