    Till a few hours ago, all the guests were able to comment. But suddenly the functionality stopped working for unknown reason. Even after filling in Name and Email, the comment appears as anonymous and on refreshing the page it vanishes. Tried all the settings available but failed to get it working.

    The problem is site-wide and not limited to the one page mentioned below.
    Although, users who login using any of social sign-in feature can post comments successfully.

    Please look into the matter.

    Could you please delete all caches and temporary deactivate the Hummingbird Performance plugin?

    Cleared all cache and deactivated the Hummingbird plugin, still no change. Can not post a comment as guest.

    Please list all plugins you use.
    Also, let us know if you have customized the .htaccess file of your root directory.
    And in the meantime check your website health in the Dashboard > Tools > Site health admin page.

    Site Health shows ‘Good’

    Hi @angadjoshi0,

    There is a conflict with the “Advanced noCaptcha & invisible Captcha” plugin.

    To get it resolved, please follow the steps below:

    1. Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Advanced noCaptcha & invisible captcha admin page

    2. Find the “Enabled Forms” section

    3. Uncheck it for “Comment Form”

    4. Delete all caches, press CTRL + F5 on the frontend, and check again.

    The problem is solved.. I was able to make anonymous comments.

    Thanks a zillion. Great support… much appreciated.

    Now, i have enabled Google reCAPTCHA from the wpDiscuz plugin by providing the Site Key and Secret Key. After pressing the Post Comment button an error is flashed saying ‘reCaptcha validation fails. Error code: invalid-json’

    Please help!

    @angadjoshi0,

    Please navigate to Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > reCAPTCHA admin page, find the “Request method” option, and change the value of the option to “CurlPost”, delete all caches and check again.

    If it doesn’t help select the values one by one to find the request method that will work fine in your case.

    Press CTRL+F5 (twice) on the frontend each time before checking.
