Guest Author Box shows up and should not

    Hi, I am using the free version of Simple Author Box but am contemplating purchasing the Lifetime version for 3 sites. So I am currently testing it out. I have turned on the Hide the author box if author description is empty toggle because I just have a Guest Author user set up without a description. So I was assuming it wouldn’t show the Blank author profile image and a blank description but it does at the end of the article. Is there a fix for this and is it a known issue with the free version?

    Hi,

    Please check that the Biographical Info box doesn’t have any empty HTML or something (try switching to Text mode instead of Visual when editing the Biographical Info) as empty HTML tags might not be visible. Otherwise I can’t think of any reason why “Hide the author box if author description is empty” option wouldn’t work.

    Not sure why but it appears to be working correctly now.
