gts-translation problem with chinese in headers and menus

I am using the gts-translation plugin at cn.calient.net. It seems to work well except that when I use traditional or simplified chinese the chinese characters are not displayed in headers or menus. So I end up with completely blank menus and headers with only the english text segments visible. When I login and look at the translation in my GTS backend at https://translate.gts-translation.com/ I can see chinese characters in the headers but this is not showing on my site. I would appreciate any assistance on this.
