    FYI, response from CloudFlare:

I can see when I look at our logs for the IP 94.23.220.123 we are seeing lots of 1000 errors for other sites on Cloudflare for this, so it looks like there is a misconfiguration on how they forward requests through our proxy that is causing a loop here. Who manages this service? Are you able to contact them?

    Hi,

We will need to get your server original IP address. You can find it out from your cloudflare DNS manager.

    Thanks!

Sorry, didn’t get this message earlier. The IP is 52.23.113.171; is there a fix that you implement on your side? Or something with the plugin?

    Hi,

Yes, I’ll need to identify your service, so I can configure it on our side. Please send the details using our contact form: https://gtranslate.io/#contact

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Just had the same thing happen to us. Your plugin triggered an issue with Cloudflare and iThemes Security. When is this going to be fixed? Providing our IP address to you for Cloudflare configuration at your end doesn’t seem to be the proper solution, especially when many other similar plugins are not triggering the same issues.

    Please reopen this topic.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

If you are using sub-directory URL structure for your paid version you will need to provide us your server IP address, so we can access your website directly from our server. Otherwise the translated page flows through Cloudflare 2 times and they do not like it.

If you are using sub-domain URL structure, make sure that cloud icon in Cloudflare DNS manager for language sub-domains are turned off.

Many other similar plugins are not using translation proxy technology.

If you are using the free version there will not be problems with Cloudflare at all.

If you think that there is some other issue, please create a new topic and provide more details about the specifics of the issue.

    Thanks!

    Hi Edo888,

Thanks for the quick response. We used the free version and had the identical problem (Cloudflare Error Code) as reported by Wojtek in his 1st message above. We’re reaching out to Cloudflare today to see if there’s anything else they can share.

We don’t think it’s another issue, so we’d like to keep this thread open for now and to help others using your free plugin. Great one, but the way!

    Hi,

Free version has nothing to do with your Cloudflare. If you can post your website address I can check it for you.

    Thanks!

    Hi Edo888,

We removed the free plugin since it affected our website. However, we’ll reinstall it later this week and advise. We prefer to share our website URL privately. How can we do this?

    OK to close this.

    Thanks!
