GTranslate 3.0.4 Dropdown Not Working

    I’m currently on GTranslate 3.0.4 free version. I am using the dropdown with a shortcode to display on the front-end. As of right now, it shows all languages and does not translate. If I choose a different dropdown (ex. dropdown with flags), the translation works, but shows all languages.

  • I’ve been having the same issue using the same version of the plugin. It’ll let you select a language but it doesn’t actually translate the site. It seems specific to “Dropdown” in the widget look setting. It’s at the top of our site if you want to look at it: https://xwalk.com/

    Dropdown broken. Select language and doesnt translate page. Had to rollback all the way to version 2.9.10 to get it to kind of work. When will it be fixed?

    same to me too, the dropdown is broken and it shows all the languages. You can see the translation, though.

    Hi,

    @push10kevin I have checked your website and I see you are using “select2” dropdown javascript library to make the default dropdowns look nice. It is causing troubles, you will need to somehow exclude GTranslate dropdown.

    @joecsmalley @bindevid @blueart I have not checked your cases, so please open a separate support topic and make sure to post your website address, so I can replicate the issue on my end and point to what is causing the issue.
