GTM4WP in combination with PixelYourSite and Custom Thank You Page

  • As an agency we always use GTM4WP when setting up tracking for our WordPress Clients. However, at one client we encounter quite a unique problem with 3 variables:

    – We have a custom thank you page through a paid plugin called PixelYourSite. The clients wants to have a custom thank you page. We need this plugin to work with Facebook’s Conversion API.
    – However, when setting up the custom thank you page through PixelYourSite, GTM4WP does not recognize anymore that it is a thank you page. No events fires and it says that it is just a normal page.

    We have the following things:
    – URL has Key and orderId in it.
    – Do not flag orders as being tracked is on.

    So what needs to be changed perhaps in /plugins/duracelltomi-google-tag-manager/integration/woocommerce.php? Which webhooks or other things need to be called on the thank you page in order for GTM4WP to recognize it as a thank you page?
