    Hello,

I applied the settings in the point 1. Using the Integration by Complianz of this page: https://complianz.io/google-tag-manager-for-wordpress-plugin-gtm4wp-set-up/:

    • I have toggled the integration with GTM4WP in the integration tab of Complianz
    • I have selected “Yes, and Google Tag Manager fires this script” in the statistics section of Complianz
    • In GTM4WP settings, the Google Tag Manager container container is set at ON

I would expect from these settings to have my GTM container correctly added by GTM4WP. Unfortunately it is not the case and I get this message in my browser console:

[GTM4WP] Google Tag Manager container code placement set to OFF !!!
[GTM4WP] Data layer codes are active but GTM container must be loaded using custom coding !!!

    Hi @palomar83,

It sounds like the “Container Code On/OFF” setting is still set to “Off” in GTM4WP, or it has been set to “On” but the site is still cached and your changes are not reflected on the front-end yet.

But this is more of a GTM4WP related question, as Complianz doesn’t change the settings in the GTM4WP plugin.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Ok thank you, I will continue to delve into that.

On the side of this question, I tried to integrate your demo container to my own GTM container: https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/. I still have issues but that would be a matter for another thread. But just one last quick question: is this supposed to work with the free version of Complianz (apart from Consent Mode)?

    Thanks.
