After spending a few days poring over Google Search Data and analytics, i ran the old tests to see if my visits were getting recorded at all. Turns out, the answer is a big fat no!

I use GTM in AMP and my regular site and i can see my visit getting recorded if i see the regular site or click on the ‘non-amp’ version on my mobile.

Please take a look at this.

Thank you. Right now, i have enabled Google Analytics (instead of GTM) for the site; that code is showing up!

Interestingly, im using the same version of the plugin on TechVise.pk (which is why we never looked into the tag firing!). Except for a few plugins, the website is almost identical in terms of theme and plugin choices.

So, this seems to be an odd issue that you definitely need to investigate…and why other people havent reported it yet.

Let me know if you need access to staging environment to replicate this issue.

Having the same issue. We use GTM for code placement. AMP traffic dropped to zero after updating on the 6th of may.

Almost had a heart attack lol!

    Looking forward to a fix!
