GTM GFTrackValue always 0

    Hi there,

    I followed the video setup instructions for GTM and it mentioned that the GFTrackValue is not working yet. Just wondering if that’s still the case since the video was from last year.

    I’ve tried it and it doesn’t seem to track the value but all other DataLayer Variables work as expected.

    What field are you using for event value?

    I tried leaving it empty (same as before where it grabbed the form total automatically – it works when I just send it to GA directly)

    But now that you asked that question… Adding the total field by itself seemed to have not done the trick but adding the merge tag with the :numeric modifier works on the test form.

    {Total:4:numeric}

    Not sure why the other one didn’t work earlier. I’ll keep looking but I think that solved the problem. Thanks!!

    Thanks, that may be a bug in the plugin. I’ll look into it. Glad you found a fix.
