    Hello team,
We have added data layer parameter via GTM to track the Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking, for which we have updated some data layer parameters at the “THANK YOU PAGE” using our GoogleTagManager dashboard
Previously this was reflecting on our Thankyou page” via Sitekit by Google plugin” Now recently realised that those parameters are missing and the Ecommerce tracking is not happening, which has really impacted the whole campaign performances.

Attaching the screenshots for your reference:

Here is the link for the measurement parameter that are supposed to be reflecting on the “Thank you page” (Recommended events)

    PFB Screenshots

Back when the Sitekit was able to add this code to our Thankyou page,
PFB this is what the it looked like.

PFB recent screenshot when the parameters are missing from our “Thankyou page”

Can you help us debug this and find why the datalayer parameters are missing from our thankyou page even after adding it through GTM.
Currently our Sitekit by Google is on Version 1.111.1

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for reaching out @idrisbonkerscorner, and sharing details of the issue you’re facing with event tracking. Unfortunately we’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the plugin support forums. For troubleshooting events configured in Tag Manager, you can reach out to the product experts over at the Tag Manager Help Center.

I did check the Google Analytics setup on your site, and I can see 2 different GA4 snippets placed, on of these via Site Kit and with events (ie. with a uniqueEventID of 42). These are highlighted in this screenshot. This differs from the eventID and the GA4 property from your last screenshot, indicating that you may be looking for data for a different GA4 property, I can’t be sure.

It’s also possible that because you have 2 different Google Analytics tags firing on your site, that you may be encountering skewed data. It also appears that you are logged in when making a purchases to check your event tracking on the thank you page. The default configuration in Site Kit is to not include logged in users for Analytics reporting. For this reason you may wish to perform some checks or the purchase experience when not logged in.

Note also that the latest version of is 1.119.0. You may wish to update to this latest version. There are no differences with regards to how the plugin works with Tag Mag Manager and the code snippets output, but I do recommend to keep the plugin version up to date.

I hope the pointers above will help you determine any issues with your “Thank you” page event tracking, but please do reach out in the Tag Manager support center, where the experts for this service can assist you with this further.
