    Howdy!

    Thanks for that information!

We’ve seen reports of the GTM functionality not working for some, and for those that have been responsive in getting back to us, most of it has come down to a conflict with their theme or an installed plugin.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:
    ?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

If you run through a full conflict test and still have an issue, please let us know!

Sadly this customer has no ability to drop the site just down for this test due large volume and business critical nature but based on others, the theme is not affecting this and by my own knowledge no other plugins that woocommerce has been updated. I hope we can solve this =(

I understand that the live site cannot be tested, but you will need to setup a staging site that is a copy of the live site to test.

The WP Staging plugin is perfect for making a clone of your live site so you can set up a staging site and test for issues without influencing your live site in any way.

You can also use this Google Chrome extension to check for the proper Google Tags on the site:

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions please start a new thread.

    Cheers!
