    Hi everyone,

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to write this post. If not, please direct me to the appropriate space and I can log my problem there.

Basically, I have activated Google Tag Manager (GTM) in my sitekit and information generates. However, I want to go into more detail with GTM and set up more triggers and tags. In doing so however, I keep getting an error saying that tag is not found.

When I try using incognito mode, the tag comes up but it says the container hasn’t been published. So I’m not sure what to do to have the container active.

When I use the develper options, I can see that the tag has been added in. The container is GTM-PLSZSMT.

Assistance on how to resolve this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks for getting in touch @antypantyhose. If you’re seeing a “Container hasn’t been published” message when checking for your Tag Manager snippet then this indicates that you may have set up the tags from tagmanager.google.com, but you didn’t complete the final step, to publish the latest version of your container. You’ll find a guide on how to do this here, while I created the below graphic that you can click on for the steps involved:

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. The product experts over at the Tag Manager Help Center can also assist with this as it’s more a Tag Manager specific query, however, I am happy to confirm a successful Tag Manager set up also after you’ve published the container. Just let me know after you’ve done so.
