    Hi Team,

I have enabled and then disabled gtag. But this file still loads from Google. What should I do now to prevent it from being loaded?

    Hi there,
Can you elaborate on what you mean by disabled gtag? I’m not sure I’m understanding

    Thanks,

There is a this new option in the plugin that allows gtag tombe used instead of analytics.js. So I turned it on, but wanted to get back to standaed analytics.js tracking.

However, it does not seem to be working and pagespeed shows that the gtag is still being downloaded.

    Hi there,
I think you’re referring to the option we have to migrate to gtag early. Note, once this is done we don’t currently allow users to switch back to analyticsjs as we’re getting ready to remove support for analyticsjs (the option we have in the plugin just allows people who want to do the migration now the ability to do so).

I’m curious why you’d want to switch back though
