At the top of my blog is “?>”. This causes a lot of formatting problems in the Write screen. When viewing the source code, I first see:

    ?><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD …….

So I need to get rid of the “?>”. I’ve uploaded new WP 2.0.3 files three times. Can someone please advise where to find the extra ?> ? I looks like it should be the wp-rdf.php file, but I don’t see the problem.

    thanks, Garrett

  • You probably forgot to give us a link?

Does this go away if you change themes? Have you looked in your current theme’s header?

I ommitted a link because it ends up in Google search results, sometimes before my domain!

Good suggestion on the themes, but the error is present on all themes I have.

Disabled all plugins and tried again?

Yes, I’ve tried disabling all plugins.

The extra ?> was being generated at the end of the wp_conf.php file.
