• I started my site on wordpress.com, and used wordpress to host my domain name. I also set up my email to work with G Suite

Last night I migrated the site to the self-hosted platform on Blue Host. After figuring out the SSL thing, and overnight hours until someone ‘live’ authenticated the SSL, everything is working!

However, my email is no longer working.

I have to go through the old site to find the domain on WordPress.com. When I try to manage the email settings, it just suggests that I add a GSuite account, and then it wont’ let me because now my account isn’t configured to that.

I can’t transfer the domain because I’m in the 60 day window.

    Help!!!!

You need to edit your DNS to set the various g-suite related records. What’s your domain?

right, I don’t have access to those records though

the domain is registered with WordPress

so when I go to the domain under WordPress, I was able to change the DNS to Bluehost (everything is working), but I cannot do anything under the email. It asks me if I want to add GSuite, and I can’t because now I don’t have the plan for it (even though I do)

If your DNS is hosted on bluehost, you’ll have to add the gsuite records there. If you can’t do that, please contact Bluehost tech support.

So even though the domain is registered by Automattic and WordPress, I set up the MX records through Bluehost?

If they’re hosting your DNS, yes.
