GSC not updating sitemap automatically (stuck)

We’re checking one of the URLs in your post sitemap (https://humbletricks.com/post-sitemap.xml), which is https://humbletricks.com/e-tour-earning-app-5432/ which was published on February 17, 2022, and when we do a SITE: search, we do see that it appears indexed and in the search results.

Do you mean your concern is that the sitemap last read date isn’t updating at all for your submitted sitemap of https://humbletricks.com/sitemap_index.xml?

yes, the date is not updating automatically, in any submitted sitemap. It is not automatically discovering new URLs. I always have to submit the sitemap after doing new post.

The last read date doesn’t automatically update instantly when you add or remove content, as there are several factors as to when Google would try and recrawl your sitemaps. It might take a few days to weeks before Google decides to recrawl the sitemap, depending on the site, and other factors.
