    HI,

SO,this week appear this to me: “You have installed a development version of WooCommerce which requires files to be built and minified. From the plugin directory, run grunt assets to build and minify assets. Or you can download a pre-built version of the plugin from the www.remarpro.com repository or by visiting the releases page in the GitHub repository”.
GOOOOD! Last night i deactivate woocommerce, download plugin from that repositoryy…. install… run… all good.

Booom! In this morning the same: “You have installed…..”. I forgot to stop auto update.

Why is this hapenning! Why?I am the only one that i have this problem.

Now i did it the same. But i think that i have a mistake and the same error appear!!!

    Pls help…

    1. And when i try to install woocommerce from that file that i have download, dont work:
“The link you followed has expired.
    Please try again.”

    2. When i try to instal from list of plungin from wordpress —–> Update failed.

    3. Click on that button “update failed” – it begin installation, but “Destination folder already exists. /home/alwaysin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/
    “.

    4. when i turn around on my plugins … woocommerce is already installed, but not activated.

    5. Activate woocommerce.

    Hello Andrei,
I think you are installing the wrong version of WooCommerce.

If you do not want to build the files yourself you must install WooCommerce from Plugins > Add New.

If you get an error that the folder already exists when doing so, you must delete the existing folder before proceeding. You can do that from your cPanel or by logging in via FTP to the server and manually removing the folder.

Do not install the plugin directly from the ZIP from GitHub since that would need a build first and it is not intended to be used on a live environment.

this must be an issue caused by woocommerce rolling out a corrupt update. I’m having the same issue and I’ve never installed any beta or dev previews. I hope they learned from their mistakes and maybe fix this with an upcoming update by them self.

Still love you work and can fully understand it.
Where man is working there are mistakes made.

I just checked the most recent release of WooCommerce and these are the files included (also on GitHub):

I am confident that the issue you are experiencing is not because of a corrupted update, also because otherwise thousands of other users would have had the same issue.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    I have the same problem!
