Groups making thousands of queries

@itthinx @russnem I’ve been following this and wanted to pitch in briefly because IMHO Russ makes sense – the Groups plugin in its current state is not as optimized as it could / should be.

Not saying that it isn’t a great plugin – it truly is! – but tests tend to be done on fresh or very basic installs, whereas when put in action on busier, existing installs plugins and queries together often can create a problem.

As long as Groups is part of the problem, and not the solution, that’s not good of course.

I have various iithinx plugins, so this isn’t just about the free version. But those plugins do rely on the Groups plugin.
