grouped list showing date but no event in last entry

Are you using a shortcode to do this?

Please let me know your feed settings/shortcode settings so I can test this out.

Feed 1:
shortcode is: [gcal id=”6208″ interval=”days” interval_count=”2″ ]
setting is: Number of Events per Page – 2 days

Feed 2:
shortcode: [gcal id=”6209″]
setting is: Number of Events per Page – 7 days

Same effect in both feeds.

Out of curiosity, on the day that is showing up that should not be, is there a start date at midnight or any crossover in time like an event that goes from 11pm – 1am or anything like that?

I want to narrow this down as much as possible so that I can find the right fix. Thanks @bernd for the useful information thus far.

I have found the following:
Im am not using your widget but I display the feed in the “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” with the shortcode and it only happens there.
It works fine when I put the shortcode into a page.

The dates are all normal single-day – none of them reaches near 12pm and none is an all-day event.
And this behaviour did not show in the “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” with any former version of the GCE-PLugin.

+1 on this one. It came with the new version.

I am using the widget with “Grouped List” and I get the same result. Last day of the period (set to 7 days) is just showing the date and not the event – or anything else.

Any solution to this one?

I can confirm, that I get the same results when I use the GCE-Widget:

After the latest update 2.0.4, when I limit the number of events to a certain number of days, the last event (which should not be displayed at all) only shows the date but no event.

And I have to correct:
This also happens with the shortcode in a page.

The number of events is displayed correctly, when I limit the number of events to a certain number of events, but then I only see the events without the date.

Working on a fix for both of these issues. Thank you for pointing them out.

I see the same behavior mentioned above. I mention here a few more details of what I specifically see, which may be of some help in troubleshooting. We only use a widget and no page. The widget settings are:
Display events as: Grouped List
Sort Order: Ascending
Number of Events per page: 7 days
Start date offset: 0 Days – Back
All events and dates for the first seven days (which includes today) are displayed correctly. After that the date (including its “Events on” prefix)of an eighth day is displayed but no events follow it. There are no events which overlap from one day to the next. There is one “all day” event with no times associated with it, but it is on the second day and not the first, seventh, or eighth day.
