    Hi Antoine

I have been a user of this plugin for ages now so I am not going to congratulate you again and again for your efforts, I consider this done already in the past, if you want the kudos each time, let me know ??

Regarding the now what question after the group stage has finished. I am editing the teams and for Winner Group A I am entering Italy, Runner-up Group A : Wales etc etc. The question is, do I need to tick the boxes for :

    • team is not a temporary team name
    • team is active

    Thanx

LOL, no, once every 4-6 years would be enough for my ego ??

Regarding the final stages, I would recommend to not change the teams, but simply change the team from the dropdown in the matches admin (1). Like so:

    2021-06-23-23h22-28

Small benefit of this, is that the existing team is now linked to this match and this match will also be shown on the team’s page.

Once saved, the team cannot be changed anymore (2), because it is now a ‘real’ team. If you made a mistake, you can fix it by temporary unticking the checkbox for the team. It then changes to a dropdown again in the match admin.

Ok I see, I am pretty sure I have done this way in the last Russia Mundial, however 3 years older and dumber, I started editing the teams in the admin Team page, not in the admin matches page.
Does it make sense to develop further and let the admin to have the option while editing teams in the admin teams page, to choose with a drop-down that this team is the group A winner or runner-up and so on ?
I believe it would make it simpler for the admins and of course help them avoid what i have started doing (i.e. edit the group a winner and make it Italy).

    Thanx again
