Group – Role or Category

    Hi there,
    I have different users ex. electricians, teachers, etc…
    and I need to group them in different categories to change the user cover photo one time per category.
    Is there a function or a specific trick you can suggest me?

    Hi @marty2010

    I’m not sure if I got what you want to achieve. Do you want users with roles to have a cover photo uploader? If so, you can add a cover photo for specific roles in specific UM Profile.

    Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Forms > Add/Edit a Profile form > see “Customize this form?” > Turn the option to Yes -> “Apply custom settings to this form” > see “Enable Cover Photos” to disale and enable it.

    In the same form settings, you can assign that Profile form to display if the current viewing profile is a subscriber etc. See ‘Make this profile form role-specific’.

    Hi,
    I am sorry, I explained wrong.
    For example: I have 50 ‘new york freelancers’, 50 ‘boston freelancers’, etc.
    I would like to set the same cover photo for all 50 new york freelancers, without changing it one by one. (doing it often would be a very long job).
    Is it possible to group the 50 of new york in a category (user role) and with a function change this cover photo for all of them at the same time?
    Is there a solution?

    Sorry for the late response. Maybe you’re looking for this tutorial. The tutorial has custom codes to assign default cover photo by user role.
