Group page – Sort Order and Search

    Hi There,

    We are beginning to have a large list of users in a group and it is hard to find specific members. 3 questions:

    1. Is it possible to specify the order (by date, alphabetical, etc.) that the group displays?

    2. Is it possible to include a search field to the group page?

    3. The search page shows a grid of all groups. Can you show one group? (I tried adding group id – ID=”1″ – to the search shortcode, but that doesn’t seem to work. )

    Hi Becky,

    Regarding specifying the orders: This feature is not available in current version.

    Regarding Search Group:
    – You can search individually by name, place, etc. by inputting data in search field.
    – Search by Group (You can select group from drop-down menu and based on that related group members will be displayed)
    – Search by Field name – Here you can make any field searchable and based on that field search results will be displayed.

    To create Search page:
    -Create new page.
    -Add shortcode [PM_Search] and publish it.

    Searching based on field:
    – Go to ProfileGrid.
    – Select Fields option
    – Edit Field (you want to make searchable)
    – Enable Display in Advance Search
    You will find that field under advance search in search page.
