Group Got Deleted by Mistake

    Hi there,

    One of the groups was deleted by mistake with an accidental mouse click. We did not update the page and refreshed it. However when the page refreshed the group was gone, and now the entire group has vanished from the front-end.

    How do we get the group back? It gave no warning that the group was being delted and just delted it.

    Hi there,

    I went ahead and just created a new group and then assigned this group to all the matches. I then changed the group IDs for the league table and players stats which seems to have brought everything back on the front end. Phew ??.

    Is there another way to do this, otherwise can it be added to your todo list to have a warning when a group gets deleted?

    you did it the right way

    When the group deleted, you need to create new one and then save any match so table is recounted.

    Than you need to connect shortcodes with new group ID if you use it that way.

    Typically group delete is not critical issue.

    p.s. we want to keep this operation without warning please. VERY rare case when you configure season and no difficult consequences.
